Florida is one of the harshest environments for a car wrap. Choosing the right materials for your vehicle wrap is one of the most important decisions that you can make. In our experience, 3M offers the highest quality vehicle wrap materials available. This is why we have chosen to use 3M wrap vinyls and overlaminates exclusively.
When your car, truck, van, trailer, or boat is wrapped at TechnoSigns, you can rest assured that we are using the best materials available today.
There are three types of materials that work together to make a durable wrap; the vinyl, the ink, and the overlaminate.
TechnoSigns uses 3M IJ180CV3. This vinyl provides years of use without lifting, edge curling, cracking, or shrinking. It is the world standard.
TechnoSigns uses Seiko solvent based inks. This allows your graphics to look vivid for years without fading, and is superior to aqueous (water based) or eco solvent inks. Our reds print bright, and our blacks print dark.
TechnoSigns uses glossy 3M 8518 laminate. This is similar in concept to a clearcoat over your car's paint, only it is made of a clear vinyl. This protects your vehicle wrap from ultraviolet light and minor abrasions. All of our vehicle wraps include overlaminates. Unfortunately, we've seen some of our competitors skip this step.
